What is a Mental Health Life Coach?

A mental health life coach is a professional who helps individuals overcome mental health challenges and achieve their personal goals through coaching and guidance. They may use various techniques and strategies to support their clients, such as mindfulness, positive psychology, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

What is the difference between mental health coaching and therapy?

Mental health coaching is focused on personal growth, setting goals, and developing new skills to improve mental well-being. Therapy, on the other hand, is focused on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. While therapy tends to be more clinical and focused on the past, mental health coaching is more future-oriented and focused on helping individuals create a better future for themselves. Mental health coaching does not take the place of therapy conducted in a clinical setting. Please inquire if therapy referaals are needed.
